Can any one help me efficiently set up and profitably operate a group of restaurants, one at a time.

I have got this opportunity of life time; which i might loose; if i do not prepare and submit a detailed plan and if i fail to negotiate my terms rightly.

I've been working in a role for almost 2yrs - focusing on product development for existing and new customers. All of a sudden my position has been changed so that now I am a 'travelling salesperson' going business to business trying to sell a product. These are two different roles - can an employer do this and where can I go for help? I've told my boss I'm not comfortable with sales and I've pretty much been told tough luck!
