Why don't you contact the king of all firework display companies, the Grucci Brothers?

and select "Become a Fireworks by Grucci Pyrotechnician" and just email them.

It is a really tough business, I have a friend who owns one in Tampa, and she has more problems than you would believe. Only a few times a year when you a really going to make money and the environment always plays a factor when they outlaw because of drought, wild fires, etc. Your best bet is to work in one for a year, and then try it.....................
