I would like to purchase an Ultrasound equipment which is used and in good condition, I've been searching on the internet but only get companies that are abroad. what does the seller mean by the handling charge? is that for covering ebay and paypal fees? i want to do local pickup with a seller and waive the feem, but he says he needs to charge half the s/h to cover the high ebay/paypal fees. is he right in doing this, or are the ebay fees separate from his fees in the auction? thanks for any helps

I know eBay auction BUYERS can sometime pay by money orders or personal checks, and auction SELLERS can also accept payments through PayPal. What other options are available for those of us who no longer want to use PayPal? Everytime I write to eBay with a similar question, they tell me to use the PayPal service ((which eBay OWNS)). Also, does anyone know how a simple SELLER on any auction site can accept CREDIT CARD payments if they don't own a business? Thank You!!!
