Hello,

I want to start a business where it's easy to get sales funded and easy to find clients.

Businesses I've noticed using this method are:
Mold Removal
Home Improvement
Medical
Auto Repair

Does anyone know of other businesses that are setup like this?

Does anyone know of specific businesses using this technique?

We never made an arrangment on paper, just verbal no one witnessed or anything, it was just me & her. The arrangment was she was silent partner who put most of the money up, but it ended up with, her trying to run the show & we both had equal amounts of money invested. She wants to go it alone but she has some of our stock & cash in her possesion & is refusing to give it back & share it out properly, so when I include it into my books do I total her stock value as our 'selling value' or our ' cost value'?

I am working on a flyer to advertise my home business and was wondering if I should hang my flyers anywhere that my town and businesses will let me, or how should I go about hanging flyers?

Just a little background about my business:

•The name of my home business is Brock’s Favorite Things.
•Brock’s Favorite Things was opened May 5, 2006.
•I sell wholesale products, many at below wholesale prices.
•About 85 to 90% of my products are name brand products.
•My business has grown from 20,000 products in May 2006 to over 65,000 products now.
•I collect and raise money for Children’s Miracle Network, Make-A-Wish Foundation, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

If I wanted to value a small business what is the best method ?
I am not a finance expert so a simple explanation would be appreciated. The business I am looking at is based in the UK, has been running for 10 years and has an average turnover of £500,000. Best year was £1,000,000, Worst was £350,000.
No fixed assets other than office equipment and one vehicle. However a very desirable client list.

I recently started my own small business. I'll branch out into a bunch of crafts, but right now I am making purses and it gets a little monotonous even though I really enjoy designing them.
