Is your business a goal or a dream? The difference is how hard you want to work to pursue it. Dreams usually fade quickly before another dream takes it place while a goal requires a serious plan of action and isn't reached overnight. I would encourage you to write out your business plan(s). The answer to your financial question really depends on what kind of business you are talking about and what "without money" means. If you don't have enough money for a business license ($75) then the answer is "you can't" but if you have clear cut goals on what you want to do and how you intend to promote the business, you have a shot at getting investors if they believe in you and your products/services as much as you do. You will have a better shot at getting $2,000 for a business start up (family or friends or bank loan) than getting $200,000. As you begin the startup phase, educate yourself as much as possible in business. Your local library is a great resource. The SBA and Score are other resources that can help you with startup information. The links are below. Again, the question is whether the business is a goal or a dream and only YOU can answer that by acting or not acting on the advice being given.

Yes. You need money to generate money, and I'll give you a typical MBA answer. If you start a business without capital and earn money, tomorrow your neighbour will start the same business and share your profit. Also, why would people pay you for something they can do themselves. The trick to start money without money is to use your time: because time is money. Today you walk the dog and earn $15. If you want to run a business but you do not have capital, you hire someone to walk the dog and pay him $14, you make $1. You keep spending your time to look for new customers until you have 100 customers per hour, and you make $100 by having 100 employees walking the dogs for you, while you do not do anything. Then you start a business without capital, but you spent your valuable time.

Start a service business, rather than a product or retail. With the tools, abilities and resources that you currently have, what can you do for people? Are there people in your community who will pay for that?
The other option, of course, is to get money from someone else. Either a small business loan or an investor. If your idea is a good one, and you personally are a good risk, you may find somebody who is willing to support that financially. Keep in mind that if you are in the US, you're almost certainly going to need a business plan first.

I seriously doubt that you can start any business without capital.
If that were the case then anyone would do it.
If the idea you have is a good one, then put together a business plan including a pro-forma cash flow and take the plan to investors.
If you can;t sell the concept to them, you probably would have a tough time getting the business off the ground.

With great difficulty. Why would you even want to try to start a business with no money? Save some money, then get started in a business that's already in existence, saving you a great deal of money in the long run.
Remember, you don't get something for nothing in this world.

I am unsure that is possible. The best advice I can give you is an Run your own Errand Service. Its hard to get it going but over time it could build. Using the internet to advertise would be free but you would need to spend money to advertise and to register your business name in your city.
I own my own business from home and I don't pay for anything since it pays for its self. If your interested check it out.
I wish you the best of luck. The Errand Running Service is truly the only one I can think of.

I used a system that takes advantage of some of the latest trends in North America, ie. health & fitness, the internet and online franchising. I have not needed a "job" since May of 2005 and it is something that anyone can do. You have to work at it, but it is a turnkey system that works, if you work it. You just have to have a dream and the desire to do what it takes to get it. You can learn more @ www.legacybusinessgroup.com logon using access code 3524353. Have fun, make money & make a difference.

You may also look out for an option to work online. Although it wont pay you like full time job but you can make some extra cash in your spare time. I am a part time worker doing work online at home, so I would like to share a link where you can make $600-$1500 in a month working at home. The work need to be done is posting/answering a discussion and uploading any photo/image of your interest. For details visit

I will publish few more genuine site in couple of weeks, where you can earn money. You may also write to me at talkofmoney@rediffmail.com (Note: When u are planning for a home based online work, be careful because most of them are scam and ask you to pay initial money. never pay money to any such site.)
