I am working on a flyer to advertise my home business and was wondering if I should hang my flyers anywhere that my town and businesses will let me, or how should I go about hanging flyers?
Just a little background about my business:
•The name of my home business is Brock’s Favorite Things.
•Brock’s Favorite Things was opened May 5, 2006.
•I sell wholesale products, many at below wholesale prices.
•About 85 to 90% of my products are name brand products.
•My business has grown from 20,000 products in May 2006 to over 65,000 products now.
•I collect and raise money for Children’s Miracle Network, Make-A-Wish Foundation, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

You likely need a permit, they will tell you the rules in your city when you apply for it.

place yur flyers on lamp posts like most peole do. and maybe place a bunch here and there around yur neighbor hood. Then a LOT out by busy roads. You'll get attention there. I've seen flyers with tabs on them so people can rip off a tab and contact you. Maybe for an hour twice a week standoutside a Safeway or Albertsons or a store like that handing out flyers to interested people.
