What are the first steps we should take to get things rolling? We have the business name and have created business cards, a website, and business email account. We have registered with the state for a business ID # for tax purposes. What else should we do?

I am planning on starting a small clothing business out of my home. My sister always wanted to be a designer and I was always very good at crafts. I make my own clothes. I am friends with a lady that has a bad reputation on the internet, she has tried to redeem herself, apologized and make amends. I tried to launch my own website, and just because she helped me, and I know her, all the lady yahoo groups have banned me. Is that fair?
