Does any one have any experience w/ debt relief.
My sister is in need of some help getting out of her mountains of bills due to a divorce and bad relationship decisions. She does not have the luxury of obtaining a loan to help, due to her terrible credit.
I told her to file for bankruptcy but she wants to avoid that route.
Anyone have experience with this.

If you wanted to help family members get out of poverty and you have a $100,000, is there any way of using the money in a way that would not just cover immediate bills but help build additional wealth? Is this too controlling?

My ring needs resized and I want a different style, and my husband's also needs to be made a smaller size. But we have in all five gold rings, three 10 carat and two 14 carat. Our local jeweler would only offer $50-75 for the whole lot. That seems extremely low to me. I'd like to get at least half our money back so that we can just buy my other ring and resize his. Is there any place that would buy them higher or am I stuck with that? Also, what are the chances of me getting a good deal on just like a trade, and have them redesign my current band? (a good deal meaning they take the other rings for most of the payment)

I am a college student and I am trying to lease a car next spring. I have a few credit cards I have had for about 4 months now and paying them off every month.

I do have money available to put down, and I get a certain amount of money each month from my relative each month but my actual income is pretty low because I only design web sites part time from home. So since I only have a part time job is that going to affect if I can get a lease? Or if I show proof of my total monthly income will it help? Sorry I just want to plan ahead. Thanks

I sold 2 pcs 1 sony handy cam and iv posted them I also verified my paypal account and i have 300gbp in there to i transfered 200 in to my bank it cleared and now paypal are taking it back out of my account and have limited my paypal account their reason for limiting my account was that i am selling high risk stuff so i provided them with tracking numbers and they said they would get back to me.

Mean time i have contacted my bank to get the 200gpb transfer stopped my banks fraud department is dealing with that as i never authorized any of the direct debits.

I still have money in paypal which i cant touch i posted the handycam today so if i do not get my money back i have lost a sony handycam & the money.

I am very upset and paypal will not do anything.
I still have stuff to post but the money for those items remains in paypal and i cant touch it so do i keep the items until paypal lift the limits or do i send them out and risk losing those too?
What can i do?

I just received a money order. I'm not sure if she filled it out correctly. In the Pay to the Order of - she put my name (good). Underneath where it says Purchaser, Signer of Drawer and Address - she left it blank. Was she supposed to sign this to be valid? If so, there is no way I can send this back - can I just sign it for her?

I currently only have a savings account. My roommate pays the bills and I just give him cash at the end of each month. However, I'm going to be doing a lot of traveling in January and will need a debit card (definitely not a credit card) to book my flights, etc.

However, it has come to my attention that I can only get a debit card by opening up a checking account! Can you please tell me why and how this works? And what should I do -- just transfer my money from my Savings into my Checking account? I can't figure out how the bank will even allow me to maintain a checking account when I won't be cashing any checks or writing any out... Please help how to go about operating my way through this checking account situation. Thank you.

I have several overdue bills, credit card debt, medical bills and now my checking account is overdrawn and will be closed if I do not pay it within 10 days. I have enough money coming in next week to catch my bills up, and offer the credit card some money (they're threatening me with collections), or I can bring my checking account current, but not both.

If my bank account is closed and sent to collections, I know I'll be able to pay it off within the next month, but I also know I won't be able to open another account anytime soon. A friend suggesting I consider bankruptcy, that I could discharge my medical bills, credit card debt, and the bank debt under it.

I am not trying to get out of my debts, I have been struggling for some time to pay everything, but even working full-time I make less than $17000 a year. I am trying to work things out so I can get a part-time job, but my current employer doesn't like us having second jobs.

Any advice? What would you do?
