I have been working at the same job for 12 years and want to take two to three months off to relax till i find another job, but would like a newer car than a 7 year old Kia. i have enough savings to pay the monthly payment while i am on vacation and enough till i find another job, about six months worth, it is a risk, i may not find a job quickly enough, what do you think? Should i just keep the crappy car, but risk not getting financed with a new job? Thanks for your help, especially if you have been in the same situation.

I had an employer who disputed a payroll claim on me a few yeas ago, they said I didn't work the hours I claimed. until it was resolved, they deducted it from my account.

My wife is leaving her employer and owes then the remainder of her contact, only about 400.00. can they take that from existing money we have and if so how.

Please, if you don't know, please don't guess. if you have a website or an article, please include it.

I am considering opening up a joint ING Direct Orange Savings Account. I have done my research on their website and would like to hear from a few people who have this account with ING online and could tell me a little bit about any hidden "catches" this account may involve...It sounds way too good to be true with no hidden fees, FDIC insured, no minimum balance and such a great yield of return, etc...

My hubby already has a savings account with a 0.75& intrest rate but I was going to close it and get an account at a more local bank but none seem to have anything any higher. However, State Farm Back is offering 1.88% on savings accounts. I'm a little leary of not having a brick and morter bank to go to but thats twice the rate of anywere else. Any thoughts?

I'm not an illegal alien. I do have a soc security number. I have heard on the news that Illegal aliens can get bank accounts, mortgages, and credit cards without a social security number. I want those privileges too. I don't understand why I have to have my social security number attached to my bank accounts (especially with Identity fraud running rampant). What do I have to do to get this privilage or is there a case for reverse discrimination here?
