After the rent/mortgage has been paid, the bills have been sorted and any debts have gone out of the bank, how much money do you have to live on per week? Do you have to spread this money over a family or is it just for you? Are you comfortable? Or if not - how much would you need to be able to say you are comfortable (without being greedy)!

I'm not interested in how much you earn - just what is left to feed the family/ entertainment /going out/ beer/ cigarettes etc.

My husband's Mother, who's living in a retirement home, recently changed her Financial Power of Attorney over to him, here's the problem, her neice had been doing the financial stuff until there was some money gone unanswered for and his Mother decided to change it. That's been about 2 or 3 months ago. He found out her neice took the bulk of her money and placed it it an account of her own ( the neice's acct ) His Mother has no right to it and neither does my Husband. There was another small checking account, which no money his Mother recieves deposited in it, it all deposited in the neices acct. Now my Husband has not talked to the neice since, he seems to be avoiding the whole matter. He tried to call her once and she was out of town and has not returned his call. I think it's strange the bank allowed her to take the woman's money, but even stranger is that my husband does not want to take her to court for it to be returned, I think something is strange?

Is there a website that I don't have to use a credit card online to order a Grant Application? I am looking for a personal Grant as well as a business grant. And I don't have a credit card to pay for the "CD", "application" or anything else. In other words I am looking for a Website that I can go to without having to buy anything to get the help I need.

Our house burned on May 2005, we had replacement insurance on it, and the insurance co won't pay us, so we got a lawyer to fight that, but now what do I do, we moved to another house, and I was thinking that we could just rent the burned house out after it was fixed. So now we have two mortgages, and no rent money. The lawyer said we had a case. But now what do we do since we can't afford both house payments? Can we file bankruptcy on the burned home?
Serious answers please.

What would be something you might get for yourself? A lot of us do not get things because it is not the right time, or I'll get it later or I'll get the kids clothes then I'll get that CD.

Hi, does anybody know how I can apply online for a US bank account? WIthout having to go to the US or provide all sorts of documents..

I found this website, http://www.getusbankaccount.com/ But the stupid thing is, I have to pay for this piece of info, can anybody help on this? Btw, there are sooo many people looking for this info u won't believe it.

Anybody from the US can help me with this? You might be wondering why, it's becoz I wanna link Paypal to it, coz I can't withdraw paymal funds from my country.

hi it is me again thank you for all your help but in my two questions i forgot to tell you that i have a job in a day care center put i m not working because i got breast cancer and i return to work on jan of 2007 well it turn out that i forgot to cancal the check because my mom aslo paid and i keep calling and calling and they are just giving me the round around and we know this is a scam because they keep telling to talk to this person and the next hour they tell me to talk to somebody and i call the person and they are not in the office also the mind office is out of the states and they said that they can not give me the office mumber and all my payments are later and my mother does not trust me no more plus i have to pay the bank plus all my other payments were charge to the bank and i just don't know what to do please help me i also call my friend to talk to her put she has not call me back i have another friend that know my situation put she also wants to rule my life

Is there any sites out there that you can say "this is how much I bring home", I should figure ?% for rent, ?% for utilities, etc. I'm really trying very hard to get financially back on track.
