...what would you think of me?

Ok I was in a car accident and I got behind on my credit cards (which I should have never had in the first place). I probably have close to $5,000 in debt and I am wanting to find the best way to get out of it. I also would rather pay one montly payment. Would a bank give me a loan to pay off the credit card companies? This would be easier for me to just pay one huge amount each month instead of so many individual payments? Also since I have late payment charges will this effect my status?

Any who please help me with any advice you might have...

In other words you are bringing home less taxable money so your social security is based on your taxable income. Maybe a money person has the answer.

I need to wire money to someone. There is a company that I saw on tv that advertized a flat rate of about $10.00. Does anyone know which one it is. WesternUnion is really expensive.

My husband and I have one for our daughter. She is 8 and it has $3,500 in it. We contribute $75 monthly. Is this a good college savings plan? How will this effect her financial aid once she gets to college? I just went back to school and have to include it on my FAFSA, even though it's not for me! :(

Let's just say that I invested 20,000 dollars in a CD at 5.18%. I made $87.99 for the first 31 days. This month I got a new statement in that said the second month I only made $85.52 for 30 days. Why did I lose? Figuring in that it should have been compounded? It's not adjustable rate!

I'd:

1) pay off my debts;
2) help any friends or family who needed help;
3) buy a house and one of those little sporty Mercedeses;
4) give some away to charities;
5) establish a foundation in my name;
6) go back to school fulltime and get my degree;
7) not worry about anything anymore!
