But basically, unless they are from the Inland Revenue, they cannot force their way into your home - though if you leave a door or a window open, then they can enter. This is called Peaceable Entrance.
Oooer, but if they do gain Peaceable Entrance then they have the right to break open any locked door or cupboard inside your house & sieze any goods of value. They can, once they've got that first Peaceable Entrance, come back again & are allowed to break in & seize your goods & property.
Once they are in your house, any attempt on your part to forcibly remove them is classed as assault.
Phew, feels a bit scary really ,,, hope that this & the website reference help.

1) They have a lot of rights but DO NOT BELIEVE what they tell you about that. They are the biggest liars and scum on earth.
2) Go urgently to a CAB and find out what they cannot take away. Have witnesses when they come and write down what they do and tell you.
3) Examine carefully any bills they ask you to pay as making false entries is standard procedure.
4) Many personal and essential things they cannot remove include your washing machine and clothes cupboards, but they always bluff you they can.
5) Any way before they come, take away to friends and family what you want to keep.
6) If you have a car, park it in another street well away.

as far as I am aware the only people that can enter your home are the police, and the people who own the house, baillefs are just trying it when they come to your home, if you owe money to a company they should legally take you to court, not send some brainless thugs to your house...
