I would think you were irresponsible. Even if you didn't want the money, you know people who need it.

Just think about all the good tiding to hospitals, churches, Red Cross, Cancer research, etc. etc. that could better the lives of others. Just because you don't want or desire the money in this life time, you could make the world a little better for others, now and in the future. I think a donation like that would give you a better high or rush, than burning it on live TV.

I wouldn't think anything of you, it wouldn't be like is was my ticket and you burned it. If you needed the money then you would claim the prize. If not then burn the ticket.
if you just like burning things, then you have no idea how many things 500 million dollars could buy you, and then you could burn things all day long. Have Fun

I think you'll get instant fame and gain another 500 million from selling a book, appearing on talk shows and becoming a motivational speaker after that.

wow thats a hard one.... Hummm you must have a whole lot more money than ...that to burn...wow what a waste,,, .. gee what are you accomplishing again.?. I would hope you would think about it more than that.. I think it would have been so cool to put the whole ticket in the salvation army pot at Christmas .... NOW THAT WOULD HAVE ROCKED!!!! that would have been awsome dude.... maybe you can turn back time.... and re think hypotetically putting the money in the pot....imagine doing that ... how really cool. ..

I don't believe it was the real ticket. I also don't recall any lottery prize that large.
