I need to wire money to someone. There is a company that I saw on tv that advertized a flat rate of about $10.00. Does anyone know which one it is. WesternUnion is really expensive.

you can also go to your own bank and do a wire transfer, a lot of credit unions do it too. My bank charges 15.00 per transfer, doesn't matter the amount, Western Union charges a fee and a percentage of the amount, can get very expensive

i have done both and I prefer the wire transfer from my bank,it is cheaper than western union,I asked at the bank if it would be transferred immediately and when the money would be available to the person i was sending it to. I called the bank the wire was going to and ask them if there were any numbers ,codes or procedure to make sure the wire got to the person, that was good because they had an address a mile long instead of just the address of the bank

I can give you a link where you can get details of Western Union.Western Union is one of the oldest and largest money transfer networks worldwide. It is one the safest way to receive money since it is not possible to reverse the transaction, especially if the amount is received in cash. More details available at
