You should talk w/ someone at a local bank or credit union. You probably won't get all the money you want and will probably end up paying higher than usual fanance rate - but that's what you need to do to repair your credit.

If you are attempting a car loan you might be able to get done without a co maker if you have good job time and if you make $2000 a month. Depending on how bad your credit is you might need some money down. As much as several thousand. The company will charge you high interest and require proof of income and job time but it will be an opportunity to earn some credit for future use.
