Hi. I am really active in my community. I've worked for several non profits. I've even been co-director of more than one.
I am interested in applying for no profit status for a program.
How does one go about this?
And do you have any tips?

My friend took a job with a US company that went to Nigeria. Their boss used most of the money (after they got there) for equipment, and can only pay in US money orders. Supposedly they can only be cashed in the US. But is there a way to cash them in Nigeria, or somewhere in Africa?

I received in the mail a 3 page letter that sounded similar to a chain letter, but was told several times in the letter that it wasn't and that it was legal. Basically I would send $1 to seven people who are on a list. I would bump the first one off the list and add my name to the bottom, moving everyone up a notch. I then buy a list of 200 "opportunity seekers" for $40. Send each one of them a copy of the letter I received along with the portion that I added my name to ...now asking them for a $1. They say the part that makes it legal is when I send the $1 to the seven people on the list, I need to add "please put my name on your list" and this will make it legal. I will supposedly get tons of money from doing this. Does anyone know if this is first of all legal and secondly..does it work?

A company has taken money from our bank account-unauthorised by using our debit card details which they have kept since June last year,We have spoke to the bank who are "investigating" .this must be illegal,surely.

What are the differences between the following:

Limited Liability Company, Limited Partnership, Limited-liability Partnership, Corporation and Incorporated?

I always see advertisements by various business and in their name the have one of the above. For example; "Jane Doe's Pizza Kitchen, LLC". What is the difference between each of those? Why would the business include that in their name?

Has anyone successfully received funds from their bank by just asking them to refund all bank charges over the last 6 years (as highlighted on radio and in the newspapers) without any comeback? Apparently you can take your bank to the small claims court over this and receive thousands of pounds back for every time the bank has charged you for going over your overdraft limit, sent you a letter informing you you are out of funds etc. These letters are standard ones that cost about 10p to run off, the cost of a first class stamp to send and yet we are charged anything from £20 - £35. I would be really interested to know if anyone has done this, won, and not had their bank account closed or had the wrath of the bank drop on their head.!

On Friday March 2, 2007 I deposited a Financial Aid check from my childs school into his checking account. When I went to check the deposit on line today Saturday the money is not their. The deposit was made at 1:00pm on Friday March 2 before the close of business so it should have showed up on Friday. I call the bank today Saturday and they have no record of me making a deposit of his check into his checking account. Yes I do have my deposit slip showing where the money was deposited into his account. I call the 1-800 hundred number and gave the person on the other end all of the information that was on the deposit slip that I receive from the tailer and was told that she would get back with me in 48 hours. Has anyone ever had this experience when making a deposit with a check? Do anyone have any idea what could have happen with the deposit that was made?.

Musicians say that we cannot find anything new after the era of Bach & co.

Have we to accept the same idea in the area of scientific and technical inventions? Was the mobile phone the last real invention in our world?

There are several industries called "sunset industries". In our country, NOKIA and paper industry are good examples. Unemployment is the current trend in the R&D of these branches.

What is your opinions? Can we wait something really new in future? Or - is something new really needed tomorrow?

For example I call a dateline, they don't ask for my credit card or checking account number. The only thing they know is my phone number, which I used to call. Does anybody know how that works?
