Starting wages are reflected in the local economy, so even if it is a chain store, they might start their workers in Chicago at $11 an hour and their workers in a suburb of a city at $8.00 an hour. It depends on the local labor pool--how hard is it for them to get a replacement for you in that market? A good indicator would be to look at what other retailers in the area pay, CC will be on par with them.
