I have a friend who was just diagnosed with cancer. I want to either find a way I can help to raise the money or find a foundatrion or charity that would be able to help. Please give only serious suggestions, I have watched both my parents die and then I was too young to help so now I want to do the best I can for my friend.

I am planning/preparing to have a major party this summer, and I'm looking for the prices to rent big ballrooms in the downtown Atlanta area. Everytime I go to a certain hotel's website, it only gives me prices of renting a room. HELP!!!! I really need to know these prices...

I paid £300 pounds as a refundable security deposit for a job. As I was unable to join in that job I asked the employer to give me back money. He gave me an account payee cheque which was rejected, the reason written was "refer to the account onwer". He again gave me another cheque which was rejected by the reason "account has closed" . I tried to contact the person and he is playing some game, he is not attending my calls and whenever I go to his shop to see him, the staff says that he is not there. Its been 1 month since I am struggling with this.What I could do legally to get my money back. I have the bank letters mentioning the cheque dissaproval and the 2nd cheque with me. I am an international student in UK.

my partner has run a catalogue for 15 years now she has a customer who owes £180 but says he cannot pay it she has informed the catalogue(great universal) who have told her its your customer you pay it or get prosecuted and they are also charging her extra charges each month because of this, she has sent his details to them but they sent them back and said you are not supposed to have customers we have changed the agreement(without informing her) and dont want to know, please help

I am looking for A3 box files in the UK. Preferably portrait standing ones. Also I am looking for cheap ones!! I have managed to find one for about £42 (after much searching), which is ridiculous considering that A4 are about £4 each!!!
Anyone got any ideas?

i was a small property developer/investor up until 3 years ago when the property market went flat. then my wife died of cancer which basically put me out of action up until now and i have also been looking after my 10 year old daughter. financially i have to start making money again but if i am honest i am not sure i want to go back doing what i did before. the problem is i don't know what else i could do. where can i look to get inspiration ?

I wonder if anyone can help, i was told and it has been advertised every where that bank charges are illigal, i took the necessary steps to claim for my money back from Llloyds TSB. Now i got a reply from them basically saying that they aint going to do anything about it and to basically accept it (in a nice professional way) i wanted to hear from who ever banks with lloyds may have gone through this procedure before and to advice me to what should i do now? If not ill just have to take it to court!

Is this a legit lottery? Does anyone know or have gotten same email? How or where does one find out if its a scam or not? Says its promoted and sponsered by Sulten of Brunei, Bill Gates of Microsoft Inc. Says all participants in this lottery have been selected randomly through computer ballot system drawn from over nine companies and 126 individual email addresses from all search engines and websites. Just a scam? Or what? I'm assuming it is. But would like input from more experienced persons, please?
