I wonder if anyone can help, i was told and it has been advertised every where that bank charges are illigal, i took the necessary steps to claim for my money back from Llloyds TSB. Now i got a reply from them basically saying that they aint going to do anything about it and to basically accept it (in a nice professional way) i wanted to hear from who ever banks with lloyds may have gone through this procedure before and to advice me to what should i do now? If not ill just have to take it to court!

its in one of the papers today 22nd Feb 07 step by step I am about to see if anyone knows which one so you can check out my Question if you like.
But basically they cant profit from charges.

I don't bank with Lloyds, however I have gone through this proceudre with Barclays, and I got about half of my money back, which was fine with me because I couldn't be bothered to take it to court.

However, if you're having problems, have a look at the below website which may be able to help. You are entitled to the money so I think they're just trying their luck in the hope that you'll give up. I would right straight back and quote the legalities as stated on below webiste and then I imagine they will cough up:
