I am planning/preparing to have a major party this summer, and I'm looking for the prices to rent big ballrooms in the downtown Atlanta area. Everytime I go to a certain hotel's website, it only gives me prices of renting a room. HELP!!!! I really need to know these prices...

Call or e-mail the hotel.

Each of these arrangements is a custom quotation. The hotel will negotiate a deal based on other commitments to spend money at that facility.
Let's say you committed to book 10 rooms along with the ballroom. The hotel would likely reduce the cost on the ballroom because they will make money on each guest room.
You might consider e-mail to each facility's convention coordinator specifying your schedule and space needs. Follow up with a phone call. If you need the information quickly, better call the hotel now.

Normally, you need to get in contact with the hotel's events coordinator. They handle the ballroom reservations. They generally don't have a price for renting the ballroom, it's based on what services you are going to need...like table & chair setup, catering, dj, buffet dinner verses sit down dinner, and how many guests will be attending. You HAVE to talk to the events coordinator to get a price because it's varies so much based on the services you need.

They probably would never list actual prices on a Web site for fear of scaring people away. You'll have to contact the hotel directly and speak to the concierge or manager. The price will most likely vary depending on how big a space you need, how long you need it for, how many guests you're expecting, etc. Also, I know a lot of hotels won't let you bring in outside food, so they'll add catering to the cost.

In my experience, very few hotels or any convention center lists the price of renting their large meeting rooms/ballrooms. Call the hotel and ask for the sales manager, he/she is the one that will be able to tell you the prices of those rooms.

Contact each hotel and ask them. Not everything is put on web-sites.
