should i call the labor board regarding my pay check that i should have received about three weeks ago from a company that i worked with for a short time of a month. the hr dept keeps giving me stories about they sent the check out via fedex on 02/07/07 but not giving me proof. i think they are upset that i left the company for a better job. im from nj is there a number i can call to the labor board that will help my situation?

Hi.
I would like to know if is there any website or any other way where i can check if a foreign (european) company does exist.

Although the company has a reg.number,VAT number and other details that could be false. Don't want to do business with a company that "does not exist".

As you all know it's very risky to do business when involving big amount of money.

ive gone overdrawn, didnt realise, they placed a charge 2 days later i got the letter, then when i checked they'd still kept paying 3/4 other items and placed another charge - i had no opertunity to put money in as i didn't know! the charges put me further overdrawn. can they do that? take money with my knowlege? (I have started that reclaim your bank charges but thats a different matter) Thanks :0)

So heres the deal!!!

My mom is turning the big 50 in November...I want to send her and my step-dad on a vacation because they both LOVE to travel but don't have the wallet to travel!!!

I'm on my own and after bills/food and what not...I get about $400 to play with each month!!!...And I'm going to start saving it so I can put it to the trip for them...But I need some more money for the trip...Any good Fund Rising Ideals???...I'm aware of car washes and I plan to do a few over this summer with some friends help!!!

Any other ideals for me???

Why is that when telemarketers phone, there's like a 5 second delay between you answering the phone and them talking. Does it have something to do with an auto-dialer or something?

I have a patent and one company in China has for years sold my invention without paying. The company is quite large. Is there any what i can get the royalty or should i forget a about it? I have contacted a attorney in China. I thougt China might like to improve on this issue since the Olympics are hold there next year.

If the bank automatically closes a checking account due to a large over draft over $200.00, and non activity, will they allow customers to re open the same account once they pay the overdraft? If the account is not able to be re opened, do they allow to open a fresh account? or once this happens, are people banned from ever opening another account at Commerce?

This company calls non stop and is rude as hell about trying to get money from us. They are a collection agency and claim we owe them money and trying to contact the original company will do us no good. I was under the impression there was a certain time they had to call. They are calling very late. Any help and the sources would be much appreciated. I have tried talking calmly to this individual, but the only response I get is pay us or else. Need help, thanks!
