should i call the labor board regarding my pay check that i should have received about three weeks ago from a company that i worked with for a short time of a month. the hr dept keeps giving me stories about they sent the check out via fedex on 02/07/07 but not giving me proof. i think they are upset that i left the company for a better job. im from nj is there a number i can call to the labor board that will help my situation?

by law a company has 24 hrs to submit to you a paycheck after you leave ...call them and let them know you will take action if it is not given to you ..get the tracking number from them for fed X ..go in person no calls ...
