I received two emails from UK Powerball Lottery showing they had a Yahoo.com email address in the UK. The phone number they gave me cannot be reached from Ohio. Please advise if your email address for UK Powerball is for real. Bill Davis

I bought a radio controlled plane on Ebay. When it arrived, the transmitter (remote control) did not work. I tried to get the seller to replace it but he said I have to deal with the manufacturer and not him. He stated in his auction "no returns".

So I payed for shipping to send it out for repair. I got it back, and now something else doesn't work. I won the auction over a month ago and I am sick of shipping this stuff away and waiting 2-3 weeks at a time for it to get fixed.

Even though he said no returns, shouldn't I be entitled to a refund since the item is unsatisfactory and not as described?

A good friend of mine, I know her for few years asked me for a help as guarantor to get vehicle loan. She was late on payment & bank made report to my credit (sucks), besides that I have excellent credit. I ask local cop for help, they asked me to get court order :( it sucks when they support crooks. I ask bank, bank said they can't do anything since loan is not default.

Besides, she also made $8000 purchase on my credit card without my permission! (right after she got the vehicle) as of now she owes me $5000!! She gave me two checks of $4000 each which came back initially. Cop says its not consider as crime (bad check), its a civil matter since i didn't took the whole lump sum :(

She doesn't answer my call & I need to drive 30-40 minutes to get hold of her hopeing she is home.

Whats the solution? I wait over a year now & I have no money & time to goto court. What if I pick the vehicle from her driveway? (I have the key made from dealer)

please help. I'll pick the best answer.

I was watching a program on how US gold coins are made and they said a $50 gold coin cost over $500 dollars. What's wrong with this picture? If it's only worth $50 bucks why would anyone pay $500 for it?

I have invented a fridge spotlight, that takes the place of the usual light. When you open the door the spotlight chooses a product to shine on and sets off a microchip in the products container that relays a voice to the loudspeaker in the fridge and tells you if the product has passed its sell-by date. Obviously, I will have to talk to the food packaging industry but I think Osram will go for it.

Together with partners I'm considering opening a store in a typical shopping area. Without thinking about the product/service we'll be selling, I'm trying to understand what customers like to experience when shopping. Of course this will be different for a teenage girl or a business man; but I'd like everyone's feedback.

So, to be clear: What store have you had an amazing customer experience in and what made it great?
