I bought a radio controlled plane on Ebay. When it arrived, the transmitter (remote control) did not work. I tried to get the seller to replace it but he said I have to deal with the manufacturer and not him. He stated in his auction "no returns".
So I payed for shipping to send it out for repair. I got it back, and now something else doesn't work. I won the auction over a month ago and I am sick of shipping this stuff away and waiting 2-3 weeks at a time for it to get fixed.
Even though he said no returns, shouldn't I be entitled to a refund since the item is unsatisfactory and not as described?

No unfortunately you cant...i think its stupid myself...but what can you do..you can file a complaint...but thats about it.

I believe if you payed through Paypal and the seller is paypal protected, you can get a refund.
The smartest way to buy on Ebay is through Paypal!!

File a dispute with ebay. (I used ebay help to find how to do it.) Although, if you used paypal they may direct you to deal with the problem through paypal.

Ask ebay...did you pay with a credit card?
Start a dispute...
If not, bad feedback, but he is such a pain, he will probably return your bad feedback.

definately!!! the no returns policy is one of those things where if you decide you dont like it when it arrives then you cant return it. whereas if it is faulty you have every right to!!! report them to ebay itself
