I'm partof a group at my work and we're currently brainstorming for new ideas.

I work for a company that sells drive-through intercom systems to fast food restaurants.

Give it a face or make it a video-com or place a slide for the photo of whoever's serving. I find people feel far less important if they think they're just part of an automated system. Even if the face resembles a person rather than the speaker themselves down the intercom it will assure customers that they are dealing with someone human who will treat them as such.

Let's see, it depends on if it is a service you are providing or a product. Maybe both. If this a one time sell then you would want to still gain a good honest relationship with the customer even in the advertising. Honesty is the best policy. I have sold and marketed many products and services and found that your campaign should be smaller and more wide spread to reach more people. Word of mouth is your best avenue to promote. Your are in sales so you know what I am talking about but alot of times people and companies tend to look for such a big and new idea that they forget some of the basics that have always worked. Yea, a slogan, pitch, or someone to remember your product or service will keep it in the minds of the potential customer. I would have to know more about the actual thing you need to promote in order to give exact ideas.

Okay, I just read your add. details: I would first look at your price compared to the market. Then, do you service them or do you just sell. Most fast food chains I would assume they work with the same contractors for all locations. Maybe a national account. The jackpot would be to sign a contract with certain chains. A fast food chain would probably look at price compared to features of it. Then what service you may provide there after would be the selling point. Beef up on warranty issues and service. That will put you above all the rest. Keep a relationship with them. I am a manager and I have a number of venders I use over and over and I tell others of their services/products b/c they are always there, stop by sometimes, treat me as a person not a $ sign, and are very good.

Hook me with a job when I grow up! I'm hoping to go to college in CA :) Anyways, hmm try something that'll appeal to customers, maybe a new futuristic design? Advanced options? Mottos? Reduce costs of several items? I like XXX13's answer, maybe I can ask him for some help. :)

What kind of business is it? Something that would be appropriate for one type of business wouldn't necessarily work for something else!
