That depends on why you want to join a branch of the military.....
You should ask your self that question first.
Are you looking for an adventure? do you want to travel and see a good amount of the world? Do you want to get good technical schooling ? if all these are part of what you are looking for then I seriously suggest the NAVY....I spent 10 years in the navy and served only on aircraft carriers...the schooling opportunities were excellent...and I saw Europe Africa south America the Caribbean the middle east India Asia and Australia...
If you want discipline and a very regimented life, the Marine Corps is the place for you.....
However if you are hard and think you can handle the challenge try the Navy Seals..No one competes with them....
There is of course the Coast Guard search and rescue swimmers, who are just the most crazy brave people on the planet...
If you don't like water, then I suggest the Air Force for schooling, and the Army for discipline and just plain old fashion toughness.
The training in weapon systems is top notch as well. If you like to make things go BOOM!

Join the Coast Guard. I served in the Army and loved it. But, the Army, Navy, Marines, & Air Force spend tons of time training for war. On the other hand, the Coast Guard is always in action: rescuing people, interdicting drug boats, and protecting our coastlines. Also, all of their duty stations are near beaches. You gotta love that! Finally, you get to spend your military career right here at home, where all of us Americans belong.

Depends on what you want to do. Air Force and Navy if you do not want to wallow in the dirt and sand. If you think you will enjoy gun battles with islamicscumbags go Army or Marine. If you do go, you should also try to get into an elite unit like SEALS or Recon Rangers etc.

All depends on what you'd like to do after your tour of duty. Different branches of the military can help you set a solid foundation for what you'd like to become afterwards. Think it out for yourself. And dont let some of these other knuckle heads tell you its a bad choice. They were the ones who were to chicken to enlist. Our country needs soldiers. Always has, always will. I myself am a retired Army Ranger. Best thing that ever happened for me.

Any is ok as long as you are committed to serving. You can get a good education in any branch. Navy is the safest.
