I live in PA, and I have a business that I started a few years back, but decided not to pursure it. I am Incorporated, I think a C Corp. How do I close this off so I don't have to worry about taxes for state and Fed? What is the website or forms I would need to do this?

Three questions:

1) What company anticipates your needs, provides excellent customer service, information, etc?

2) What specifically makes them superior (call center has the right answers, knowledgeble employees, good return policy, quick repair, in home repair provides good time windows for service, etc, etc.)

3) What does it feel like to be a customer there? Why keep coming back?

I heard that Wal-Mart has decided to permanently end their layaway program. I thought it was just a rumor until I saw it on the news last night. Does anyone know why they decided to do away with their layaway program indefinitely?

Yes you´ve heard correctly. Sadly, here in my country compensations when you´re fired are much better than compensations when you just go. So, I have 4 months to get fired. The thing is that I´ve always had great yearly reviews, but a promotion has been denied (they just can´t). It´s been 10 years now and I´ve decided It´s time to move on.

Now I´ll live in another country and we have no offices right there. So what´s the point of stay here without proper compensation?

Strange as it sounds, if they fire me would do for me, and I´d go happy. Another person with good reviews tried to talk and negotiate her way out, but they denied their request. What to do?

really tough one, Isn´t?

So I graduated from college last year and got a job straight out of school as an art director. Some of the new girls that are around my same age like to say I'm cocky and too selective. All of the seniors like me though and it's seems I've gained alot of respect in their eyes since I started, as they're always asking me for my input. The young women basically say I'm cocky because I make calls on a lot of issues that I shouldn't be involved in, I just feel if something could be working better we should change it, and I have no problem telling someone about it. Personally, I don't care what they think of me, but I worry, because they're the type that like to gossip and talk about everyone in the office, and all they seem to care about is protecting themselves, I try to keep out of inter office politics as much as possible, and I don't want them to try and pull me in and slander me to the VPs and senior directors. How should you deal with these types?
