Anyone know about this? I recently went to a local Walmart and was told that they didn't have layaway anymore! Then I read a newspaper article a couple of weeks ago that the company is thinking about doing away with layaway! Anyone in here work with Walmart that might know something about it? I'm from south Texas.

Say I wanted to start trading stocks. Could I start an LLC to trade stocks for me, as the company's sole purpose. Pretty much as if the company was trading for me. I have no securities trading licence. But there should be some tax advantages for having a company that owns a stock instead of an individual. I was wondering if I could do that with an LLC. If not, are there any other corporate entities that could?

I hope that telemarketers and their companies should just get a one way ticket to hell. In hell, I hope that they have to listen to their own sales pitch every second of the day.

i work in the layaway department at walmart, and we just got word today that they are doing away with layaway after the christmas season. I think it is stupid cause we get a lot of business from the layaway. And walmart just keeps finding ways to screw over its employees and customers. Soon target will be doing layaways and walmart will be out of business.

I work for a big corp.
my company is trucking in Indians by the dozen.
I am working with a lot of them.
Now in meetings, it is usually just me and a group of them.
A lot of time, they speak in their language. Not english.
It is very uncomfortable.
how should I handle this?

Company is known for being top heavy (too many Directors, AVPs).
If you are in one of those management positions, do you actively pursue other non-management opportunities in the company (at same salary level), or do you wait to see if you will be selected to stay with the new Private company structure? If a severance package is offered before you find out if you will selected to keep your job, do you take it?

I have asked before, but people keep telling me the government owns the post office. The postal employees tell me that it is no longer a governmental agency. I have also been told by other people that it is privately owned. I want to know who to contact OVER the people a complaint will go to from their website. What company or corporation do the postal offices report to?

I have had some problems with a supervisor at the local post office and would like to file a complaint. I have sent one through the website, but have not received an acknowledgment of them having gotten the complaint. If they do nothing about this, I want to know who owns the U.S. Postal Service. I'm sure there is an office somewhere that all of the various branches have to report to and I want to know their name and contact information.

I am setting up a new office with physical filing cabnets. And I have to settup a new filing system for documents that for example are accounts receiveables. What my problem is I am not sure how to cross reference certain documents with their master document file. Example: The master file is Cushman & Waitfield, but they have subcontractor companies that we do work for and get paid for the work we do for them. So my question is how do I set up a filing system for the subcontractors and the master file?

I moved into a newly build house and when I moved I registered for gas and electricty with Southern Gas and Electric. However as the house was on a plot of land which used to have another postcode and now has a new postcode things went wrong and I got a letter from British Gas that I am their customer. I called SGE and they said it was a mix up and was now corrected I just had to raise the matter with BG (house.co.uk) I emailed then now 4 times and never get any reply (I refuse to call them 0845 as I refuse to pay for a phonecall to correct their mistake) if in the future they make a fuss about it could I be registered with a ccj or something like that? I kept all the correspondance as proof but i am so fed up with them i am not wasting any more time on it.
