I work as an admin for medium sized company. I have noticed that my boss makes a lot of comments about my appearance. I tend to wear shorter skirts, a little above the knee, with stockings (hate pantyhose) and two or 2.5 inch heels. The last three years I have gotten big raises. I feel a bit guilty about it.

Hello!

My name is Aleksey Pogidaev and I am a team leader of a web development
company in Moscow, capital of Russian Federation. We develop high-level
databases and provide support for Western company's web sites for
the Russian spoken market.
From time to time we also perform consulting projects for American
companies. Our accountant advised me to employ an honest and reliable
US resident to be our intermediary, because it would get us more
streamlined way to receive payments from my American clients.
That's why we ask you for your assistance in facilitating transfer
of funds to be received from our USA clients. For your work we offer
you a set percentage of the total funds transferred. Based on the past
incomes, we expect the gross payments by amount about $8,000 - $15,000
per month, which would give you about $1000 per month for you
in commissions and require about 1-3 hours of work per month with
absolutely no investment and no hassle for you. I'm sure; this will
become
a good regular source of earning for you for almost no effort.

Yours truly, President, RBC Soft LTD.

OMG! Im chief bridesmaid for my sister, she is getting married next July. We heard on the news yesterday, that the hotel chain Swallow, has gone into Administration. She was having her wedding reception in one of their hotels! It was booked, and her and her fiance paid the required deposit. I was just sitting here thinking about it, when I really started to worry for her. What do you think she she do? Im not sure if she has phoned the hotel today or not, but she was asking me last night for advice! I feel so sorry for her.

I recently bought my children some items at a "children" type of store. When I paid with my check card the girl ran it twice & told me it went thru on the second try. I couldn't understand why she had 2 run it twice, so I told her that I'd like to leave my name & number because something didn't seem right. Later that day there was a message on my answering machine explaining that the girl who ran my card was new & that it never went through. I checked my statement online & in the pending items the amount was taken out twice. I waited until the next day 2 call, so I could check my account again to see if it was taken out twice. I tried calling the store manager 2 let her know I wasn't avoiding her, I was just making sure I didn't pay 3X. She wasn't in when I called. Later that day she left me a message 2 call her immediately. I called 2 she began yelling at me about how she had to get this taken care of. I explained to her that I wouldn't until I saw the items taken out of my account.

With a slow economy in the US, I can not understand why plants are being outsourced. Especially to a country that is in turmoil and harboring terrorists.

I was just closing the place and the manager decided to let an employee leave. She was complaining she wasn't feeling good. The manager let her go for the night. I can understand that, but when there is still a lot of projects to do yet before 11:30 p.m. and they let another employee who WASN'T feeling sick, should I have confronted the manger about fair game here or ignore it like I did?

Hint: They do offer "Open Door Policy."

Wal-Mart has been very good to it's workers.....in China.

They are the supercenter of low wages, poor benefits, and imported products.

Is Wal-Mart better for America....or China?

I am extremely worried. Observing the American (the U.S.) economy and the world's, it looks like we all are heading into something.

Clearly notable, the American economic growth and the money spending has been decreased from theAmerican mini-golden ages during the late 1990's.

Not only that, but also there are very costly war on Iraq and war on terrorism, that does not seem to be over on foreseeable future.

I have a bad feeling that the American economy is going to have some harsh times ahead (and consequently, the world as well).

The most critical problem is, the majority of people do not take this seriously.

Do you agree? If or if not, then why?
