to people ,without SSNs , who many believe are illegal...is there a way for someone to find out/track if they have been actually hurt by this...in other words , many people have said they have/will withdraw their accts from B of A, but is there a way to see if that is true?

I need some advice. My director was recently fired. It was strictly political (I know this for a fact, I was a silent insider) I used to love my job and the company I work for but now I can't stand it. She was the best boss I ever had and the best director this company ever had. But some power hungry *sshole needed a scapegoat and sent her packing. I'm really trying but I just can't feel good about this company anymore. I get to work later everyday. I work slower. I'm miserable all day. I don't want to leave before I'm am fully vested (in May this year). What can I do to feel good about this place again? What motivation unrealted to the company itself or ever the job itself, can I use to make me ebrace this company again?

I have been using YAHOO since I dumped AOL. In the last two years I have been noticing a huge increase in issues around it's profile search and email modules. I'm wondering if this might be a good time to short the stock. Has anyone else been experiencing similar thoughts?

Hi, I could someone please provide some examples of companies which:
1. have resisted the opportunity to move to a low cost country to manfacture, thereby staying loyal to their original location.
2. have moved just because it's cheaper and higher profits can be achieved.
3. have attempted to stay in their original country as much as they could have but have had to move some processes abroad for the business to remain viable.

If the businesses which have moved (or not) did so from the UK that would be good.

Thanks

I worked as the second shift supervisor. In Nov. of 2004 my company went to one shift and at that time the company had decided to keep me on. It is now 2007 and the company is healthy. Yesterday my manager said to me that he wanted me to change my hours because he could not justify me working overtime during the week, since he has two supervisors and the other one is on salary and hourly. He told me that it is fine for me to work on Satrudays. This will be taking 5-10 hours of OT away from me just because I'm hourly?? Please help my understand is this legal?

Are there any approaches to stop this tomfoolery? Innocent people sometimes get punished while the devious stay free. Without legal evidence all statements can be considered a Defamation of Character, Libelous, Malicious, Slander, and too many legal definitions to write. Mr. Thomas M Coughlin had been at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc so he would know a lot of their ways and yet he was the “Fall Guy” for Samuel Robson Walton. Unfortunately Mr. Coughlin’s heart is weak otherwise he could have won against Wal-Mart. He knows the real Wal-Mart, but the Code of Silence won and the truth may be lost forever. I wonder if Mr. Thomas M Coughlin cares about Bad Axe Michigan. The Code of Silence is akin to the Code of Injustice and needs to be eliminated. Americans no longer have many protections in the work place. If members of the Board of Directors can easily be replaced just imagine how much easier is to replace low level employee and not win a wrongful termination lawsuit against conglomerates!!

I know this question sounds strange, but could a company theoretically repurchase all of its common stock? If so, would the company own itself? What would be the implications of this? I'm thinking that this would never be possible because 1.) the shareholders would probably never allow it and 2.) as the company repurchased more shares, the share price would increase making it more difficult for the company to repurchase the shares

i would like to know if making something from a cardboard carton
(like a 12 pack of pepsi or something like that) and then selling the finished product over the internet or at retail locations would be a violation of copyright laws. by the way the company's logo/insignia would be visible because that would be what would sell the product
