Are there any approaches to stop this tomfoolery? Innocent people sometimes get punished while the devious stay free. Without legal evidence all statements can be considered a Defamation of Character, Libelous, Malicious, Slander, and too many legal definitions to write. Mr. Thomas M Coughlin had been at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc so he would know a lot of their ways and yet he was the “Fall Guy” for Samuel Robson Walton. Unfortunately Mr. Coughlin’s heart is weak otherwise he could have won against Wal-Mart. He knows the real Wal-Mart, but the Code of Silence won and the truth may be lost forever. I wonder if Mr. Thomas M Coughlin cares about Bad Axe Michigan. The Code of Silence is akin to the Code of Injustice and needs to be eliminated. Americans no longer have many protections in the work place. If members of the Board of Directors can easily be replaced just imagine how much easier is to replace low level employee and not win a wrongful termination lawsuit against conglomerates!!

The Code of Silence is understood by most people to apply to Law Enforcement. Camaraderie and peer pressure prevents Peace Officers from telling the truth of potential embarrassing or criminal acts. They apply to others but it may not be called a Code of Silence. Tom Coughlin does know a lot of dirt at Wal-Mart but in his agreement decided to keep it secret for the rest of his life. Mr Coughlin's evidence of Wal-Mart having a stash of money or slush fund for anti-union use depended on people at Homeoffice but balked because of their Legal Division's reputation of winning always. If the Code of Silence does apply to the business world then it successfully silenced Thomas M Coughlin.

ok, im not understanding your question, i understand your rant, but not the question... what code of silence? do you mean how the bosses wont rat each other out? well, duh...if a company can get away without having to pay what they deem to be a frivilous lawsuit against the little guy, of course they will.... but in any court, proof is your golden word... ( since word of man or a mans handshake no longer means anything) if im guessing right, the guy you talk about was hurt at walmart? if im right,, have him goto labor board, or he if wasnt emplyee, have him contact OSHA
