Okay i have a special plan with phone, internet, and tv for 79 bucks a month. Charter offered me a cable box for the tv and said they wouldnt charge me anything. However the bill i got next month suggested otherwise. Instead of being charged 79 bucks i was charged 139. I called them back and the operator said he would fix it. However on the bill after that i saw no change. Is there anyway i can get a refund? Had this happened to anyone else? What should i say while talking to the charter operator? Please try and help me.

I've been investing with success for several years and I just opened an margin account with options. I'm looking into getting a small position with options but I have a few questions first.

First I'm having trouble making sense of the Option symbol and strike price. For example when I research EWZ, for a given month and strike price I receive 3 different symbols;
EWZ C JAN 75
WKB C JAN 75
ZYL C JAN 75
I'm guessing the different with them are their expiry dates. Is there any logical meaning behind WKB & ZYL? What the best to get find their expiry?

My second question is the about the strike price. I know that one contract give you the power to buy/sell 100 shares, I just want to confirm that the strike price must be multiplied by 100 to get the per contract price. For example a contract with a strike 4$ would cost 400$ per contract?

Also the reason I'm looking into options is gain leverage for long term position, not day to day trading. Is there any argument to avoid LEAP options?

I have a good friend who's currently in foreclosure proceedings for a townhome, but he just recently signed to get into another house. I'm not sure how he was able to do it since we're both single and make about 45k / year. His new mortgage is slightly lower but he has two roommates who are paying $800 / month. What are the consequences of actions aside from these? And how will this action affect the rest of us? I live in California, was recently asked to relocate for my job to Texas and keep the same pay but passed because I couldn't leave my family and friends. I currently rent an apartment but would like to invest in a home one day. I'm 31 and single, but I feel like my slim chances at ownership exist through marriage. I'd rather not rely on friends or roommates to help make a mortgage, and shouldn't look to marriage as a means to an end either. Thanks for your time folks. Happy holidays.

I joined AVG free forum to ask a question regarding their anti-virus program. The moderator was very rude. To make a long story short... I have tried resolving it at the forum but the moderator just closes thread and refuses to address the problem. I would like to withdraw from their forum but I can't find out what e-mail address I should send my request to. Is their anything I can do? How do I contact AVG or Grisoft by e-mail? Their sites require license number to contact them and I am using the free version so have none. Is it possible to have the rude posts made by the moderator removed??
I have searched the internet for days and can not find the answer to these questions only more people with the same problem as me. Can anyone here help me?

Is this unethical? We own our own business (design) and wanted to partner with others to hopefully pull in new clients. We have contacts that know others who could use our service and wanted to offer them a percentage of the sale for getting us new clients, is this unethical?

I took a buyout from one of the Big 3 due to their downsizing efforts (in Southeastern Michigan---a very economically challenged area, highest foreclosures in the country) and was unemployed though actively seeking employment for 7 months. I finally landed a job for 65% less pay just to keep the lights on. During my job search I spent a considerable amount of money on resume paper, interview clothing, and other office supplies...Is it possible to claim some of this on my tax return---gas money, groceries, anything?!? I need to get all I can back on my return this year. Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated.
