Is this unethical? We own our own business (design) and wanted to partner with others to hopefully pull in new clients. We have contacts that know others who could use our service and wanted to offer them a percentage of the sale for getting us new clients, is this unethical?

The practice of bird dogging for new business is an old and trusted method of getting new business. Seems perfectly ethical to me. Everybody wins!
