I got bill for my house tax and everybody told me to ignore it since I'm already paid them from my mortgage, but I'm not sure if that's true or not. How do I find out? There's nothing on the bill. Thanks.

here is the deal. Ive worked professionally with a theatre and decided to get an agent. I got an agent, signed the contract and paid a small fee to be listed on their website and book. I was told they would call me at least 2 times a week to go out on auditions, it has been a month and i have not received a call or anything from them. Ive called them they said just to go and do some extra work, and now I want to do more.
1. If I send in my headshot and resume do I list my alleged agencies contact info on it, or my own? the way I see it is that if they don't get me the the audition they don't get the credit so it shouldn't involve them.
2. i just need general help on where to send my headshot and resume..casting directors ? other agencies?

please help if you can.

thanks

We are trying to close on a house with some office who I believe to be crooks (they messed up the 1st deal, they never return our or the owner of this house's calls,& they take money & won't give us a reciept, ect.) The only time they actually call is to ask my husband for money!
I know they're running a scam, but how can I get some quick action?
We already moved in & are putting everything in our names (electric, gas, ect) but I am afraid the owner of this house is going to get tired of waiting & tell us to move. How can we stop that from happening/? I like this house,I don't want to move!! The owner came & got his stuff out of the garage & said he doesn't know what happened to those guys (in the office). Why is he still taking his stuff?
If there are any lawyers out there reading this,PLEASE email me ASAP..I am so tired of all this house BS & just want it to end. It's been going on since April of this year. Also they made the co-signer sign a contract but won't give us a copy.Help!

I've got a BA in psychology and have 4 years experience working at a detention center and 2 years working as a teacher's aide in a Special Ed school.

I'm curious as to what type of work those experiences could help me get.

I am saving up money to go back to school and I'm thinking about switching my major to the physician's assistant program. Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated. Also, if anyone knows anything about the specific program at University of Texas: Pan American, that would also be really helpful. Thanks in advance. :)

I am a sole-proprietor. I obtained my Tax ID number about six years ago, but this is the first year that I have actually done any business. I actually started in April of 2007. I have made a little over $200 so far this year. What exactly can I write-off on my business taxes? Please be very specific.

My husband is going to help me with certain tasks in my business, so he is somewhat like my business partner. If he and I go out to dinner to discuss the business plan, marketing and advertising ideas, can I write that off? If I buy a new desk for my home office can I write that off. Are there any limitations to what I can actually buy?

If I have a business gas card and use it for my personal gas, is that illegal? I only plan to write-off what I used for business expenses.

This audit is for a private corporation with the following issues: No statement of cash flows, change method of accounting for long-term contracts restating prior years, debentures issued restricting future cash dividends to earnings.

My report contains theses paragraphs:
1. Introductory, excluding cash flow
2. Scope paragraph- no changes
3. Disclosure paragraph-debentures
4. Lack of statement of CF
5. Opinion- except for above 2 paragraphs
6. explanatory paragraph- change in method of accounting

Is this one too many paraphraphs for a report of this type or does it appear correct.

(California) I signed up for a full time job with an agreement to be paid hourly. However, after two days of work I decided this wasn't the right job for me, so I quit. I have two days of work documented in a punch card at their office. I am reasonably certain I am entitled to money from the two days of work, but in case I never receive the money by the end of the pay period (at the end of this month), I'm concerned about how to go about getting my money.

Should I contact the Department of Labor? Are there any specific laws I can cite to the company to show them they owe me money?
