If you're interested in getting a real estate license - go visit some well known real estate companies that also have real estate schools....... sometimes they will pay for your classes if you agree to hang their license in their office for a period of time after you get your license...........

That depends upon what you want to do. Some folks have said to get a RE license but there's a LOT you can do in the biz without a license. You can sell something that you own yourself without a license and you can manage your own investment properties without a license. I've bought and sold a number of investment properties over the years and managed some of them myself and have never been licensed or needed one since I personally owned the property.

If you want to sell properties for others as an agent or broker or manage other owners' properties for them, THEN you will need a license.
