Here's the situation. My husband makes very little money. I have him covered under my insurance policy.

Until recently, my stepdaughter was covered under Child Health Care Plus. Coverage stopped when she turned 15. Her real mother is being a real witch and demanding we buy her insurance. Hubby can't afford it. I can't enroll her under my employer's plan because there's only open enrollment one month per year. I really don't WANT to put her on my policy, as she seems determined to get pregnant ASAP, and also she hates me and steals from me. Can I be FORCED to get her insurance?

Oh, and did I mention her real mother doesn't work?

HELP!!!!

I'm 23 and brand new to real estate and was wondering if someone knew how much I would approximately have to pay for, lets say a duplex worth around $100,000 in upstate New York. What kind of taxes would I have to pay for this (state, fed, local???) how is it calculated, and what kind of insurance do I need? This would be a rental property that I would also be living in.

Years ago I had about 2 years of a credit nightmare. I was young and didn't know any better. Luckily I was able to pay off all of my debts and now only owe my student loans from college, which are not much.

I know I can contact the credit agencies myself but my credit reports are so overwhelmingly inaccurate and cumbersome. I am not kidding when I say 95% of my credit report is inaccurate. None of the companies notified them when they were paid off or when they were transferred from one company to another so some of my "debts" are even listed multiple times.

When I paid them off it took me forever and my mother's help just to figure out what I owed and now it gives me a stomach ache to even look at it. I did the hard part - paying it off. Now I just want someone to go in, sort everything out, and dispute the inaccuracies. I am willing to pay a good, honest company but I all I keep hearing about is to be wary of scams.

Does anyone had experience with this sort of thing?

I purchased a house with my mother as co-owners. I was supposed to live there with my brother since he didn't have the credit we had to put his share into my mothers name. Even tho I put a big chunk of savings into the downpayment I chose to leave because I had no space living there with him, he didn't want to pay any bills and I just couldn't. I forfeited verbally telling him that I don't want anything more to do with the house, everything I put in so far goes to him. If he doesn't want it he can sell it, if he wants it, he can pay for it.

Well I think he's still having trouble paying his bills and the last thing I want is for him to go bankrupt while the house is in my name.

Also my mom is retired now and if she goes bankrupt what will happen?

I want my name out of there NOW. and I don't know how to go about it. Legally what are my options?

I petitioned the trustee to dismiss my Chapter 13 case because I could not afford to pay $1400.00 a month anymore in addition to a $1200.00 mortgage and other expenses. My primary reason for filing for Chapter 13 was to protect to house from forclosure. I sold my home and have a settlement date in two weeks. My question is since the Chapter 13 was dismissed on 8/20 what impact does this have on my credit score. Is it viewed just like it would if my case was "discharged"? Does my house being sold help my score any? Thanks!

I have a monthly mortgage of $1,350.00 with a 4.92% interest rate which is due to go up. How much might the monthly payment go up if the rate increases to 6.25%? That is on $197,000 with monthly taxes of $330.00 escrowed? That is the only thing escrowed (hazard insurance is paid by myself quarterly). Thanks !!!
