Hi,
I am a registered nurse who has worked in the hospital setting for almost two years. I am looking to enter the public health setting. I applied for a public health nurse II job. The only qualification is that you have your BSN which I do. Just wondering what the difference is between the two titles.

I am looking into buying a town home next year and i was just wondering about the down payment. I am getting married and moving out and it will be the first home i've ever bought. I heard that when you buy a house, you need to have at least 10% of the cost as a down payment, but we won't be able to come up with that kind of money, so my question is, do you have to make as much of a down payment on a town home as you would a regular house?

Simple questions.

1) Is the franchise fee a one time fee, or yearly?

2) Royalty fees are paid by transaction, monthly, or yearly?

Thanks

Does anybody know of a website that will calculate an estimate for what I will owe in income taxes if I am filing a 1099-MISC? I have to file 2 1099-MISC and one 1099-R and I can't find a site that will let me put all that info in to calculate an accurate estimate of what I will owe. Every site I've been to has quoted something very different because none of them give me the option of including the 1099-MISC and 1099-R info, they only give me the option of being self-employed (1040-c) or filing a W2. I know I will need to talk with a tax professional, but I want to just get an idea of what I will end up owing. Also, this wouldn't be self-employed income would it? Isn't that only for people who run their own business and get a 1040-C? I get paid as a non-employee of a small business, more like an independent contractor I suppose.

Hello,

I am facing redundancy, and I was given two options to consider if I am made redundancy:-

* 8 weeks notice workng
* 2 weeks notice working and 6 weeks gardening leave

I would like to know which one would get me more money, and whether it is tax free.

And oh, if I choose gardening leave - will I be allowed to go on holiday overseas?

I would appreciate your answer.

Thank you!!

I work at a bank, transferring a few years ago to this department. My old boss got promoted, making his position available. I’m applying for it, interview on Friday.

- The guy interviewing me is my old boss, to whom I reported for 4 years. I have a good working relationship with him, and he always gave me above-average evaluations.
- I currently work in a business casual environment. My old area is even more casual. The interview is on casual Friday.
- The interview is in his office, smack in the middle of “BlueJeans-ville”.
- This is a position that manages 40+ people at this bank.
- My co-workers don't know about the interview.

Given that it is Friday, and I don’t want to stand out (especially to my current co-workers), I would like to be casual. But it is a management position at a bank, and so I want to look appropriate.

It’s not like my old boss doesn’t know who I am. Do I dress normally, and trust he won’t consider my dress as a lack of professionalism?

Just a simple question.

I receive, not pay, child support. Do I need an end of the year statement from what has been paid to me or anything like that when I file for my taxes?
