He annoys the hell out of me. Aside from throwing things at him, all I've been doing so far is putting empty soda bottles inside his desk. I need to step it up to the next level.

Ok, this is evil... but you can get a device called the 'annoy-a-tron' from thinkgeek.com. The site is listed below. Hide it in the most unlikely place possible (like maybe taping it to the back of his file cabinet or desk). Basically, what it does is it emits a high pitched beep for a very short time.. then goes off again at random intervals. He'll go crazy trying to figure out what it is or what it does. Um.. of course it's better to resolve issues peacefully and not resort to tactics like this but man.. revenge is sweet sometimes, isn't it? :)

as a joke at my former place of employment, we would take a photograph of someone and place it among the photos of our coworkers. Sometimes it would take a few days before they would realize they had a 'new' person added to their all important photos. I also took a photo at a party of one of my coworkers doing a crazy dance move. I printed it out and put it in a frame. Every once in a while I would place that photo on someone's desk. It wasn't an evil thing to do, but it did lighten the mood at work.

One of the things that really annoy people but aren't permanently damaging is to save the shreddings bag from the office shredder and let them find their desk stuffed full of this.
One friend of mine took multiple pigeons into a guy's office and let them spend the weekend in there. Apparently it was RATHER MESSY. They did a huge investigation into it as it happened at a police departrment.. No one was ever found strictly accountable for it, but rumors abounded.
Take the letter key they would use most i.e. one from their name. I was told Clinton's cronies did this by stealing the W key from most all the whitehouse computers after they lost the presidency.
I make no guarantees as to your continued employment if you take any of this advice!

My favorite joke is to take a screenshot of a Windows pop-up error (any application like Word, Excel etc is fine, or just find one using Google), find his wallpaper file on his computer, and paste the pop-up error onto his wallpaper. He will see the pop-up, try clicking "OK", "Cancel", or the "X" but nothing will happen. Usually results in multiple reboots and a call to IT. Hilarious.

If you work in an office with cubicles, slowly move their walls, about 1/2" per day. One day they will come into the office and wonder why their cubicle is so small.

Prank call them with the arnold soundboard from ebaumsworld. Or just keep calling them and hang up.

Fill their cubicle with packing peanuts.

hide a banana behind his computer screen and leave it there to rot! Remove something from his desk and let him go nuts looking for it! Tape all his pens and pencils in his pencils holder, that way when he goes to pull out a pen, everything falls out!
