I currently live in Illinois but I am moving to Hawaii in May. I am not going there before I move. Do I start applying now? Or do I wait until I get there and then start applying. I do not want to be without a job for too long once I get there.

Or do you suggest I invest this money somewhere to avoid taxes? All I need to know is how much taxes would owe to the gov't? Is it a flat rate or depends on my situation?

I live at my parent's house. My car was parked in their garage. A sewage drain(old house) busted and sent "stuff" over my car. It took the paint off the car. If my parents are going to file a claim, will it matter that I live in the house? Will they deny it because of that? I am not on the policy, so even though I'm related, I am legally like an outside person.
Anyone have additional advice on this issue? My parents don't want to pay and I don't want a car with diminished value. Thanks

When I did my taxes last year, the tax preparer said based on my W-2 that I CAN NOT contribute to an IRA. I withdrew my contributions for the year and have not continued since.

What is the limit to use an IRA? If I am over, what do I do with the money that is still sitting in there?

Thank you in advance,

I am curious to know what an approx. refund will be. I claim zero dependants my total income before taxes last year was $31,564.19. I had some pre-tax dedcutions including retirement and health care. Federal taxes taken out where $3,122.95 and state deductions where $1,491.10. I do have seperate money in IRAs and money markets so I am not sure how that will play in. When I use an online calculator it says I owe, I have also put in my info from last year and it said I owed money. However last year I got a refund. So just curious if you have any idea.

Are young employees (<30) more likely to not get hired than someone over 30 that is overweight. I have a friend who is an HR worker saying that employees that are overweight and young, under 30, are more likely to get discriminated against do to the fact that young people are supposed to energetic, acitve and go-getters hence they shouldn't be overwieght. That could point to them being lazy and not ambitious. What do you think on this?

My husband and I just got married - 8 months ago....we lived together 6 years before getting married. We purchased a few homes in his name...the existing mortgages are in his name. His credit is in the toilet now due to irresponsible/lazy choices he made right before we got married- like not paying bills on time. We now need to refi - and it was suggested to do it in my name. Would I have entitlement to the house if something was to go wrong- or would I just be stuck with a bunch of payments on a house which is not mine? If I am stuck with payments - how do I get myself on the title as well? thanks :)

We can make an electric generator for cars, homes, factories, etc. It does not require any fuels and has no discharge other then electircity. (no pollution). have several auto manufactors ready to use the power units. several other marketing options ready. This technology is proven in the lab, and third party, and is patented. We need funds to gear up to go to market. When we talk to the actual investor, we can show there is no risk to the funds being invested.
