My brother lost his job 3 months ago. His credit cards are maxed out and the creditors are calling him non stop. He tells me he has about $18,000 in debit and wants to file bankruptcy. Is there any other way to get financial help when you have had a hardship?

The company that a friend of mine works for recently paid his annual bonus directly into his bank account alongside his december salary as expected. He duly used the money to pay off a credit card debt. The company then said that the payments were made for the incorrect amounts and that they must all be transferred back before they are paid again correctly (and probably smaller). As the money cannot be paid back, where does he stand legally and morally?

I really do not want to sign up for any of those "get paid for survey" sites or start an ebay store because I don't have a credit card.

I like to make jewelry and I am a graphic designer but it's hard to advertise around this small town. I am not opposed to babysitting but it is hard for me to babysit because of my class schedule.

What is the best ways I can go about making a little income by being at home when not in classes?

From the age of 18 to 24 I wracked up a heaping pile of late fees on my credit cards, and have finally paid everything off last month which took a huge load off my back.

I worry most that the man I love will be devistated when we marry, and we cannot buy a house together because of my awful credit history!

How can I now start to build good credit and leave this all behind me so that I have a chance at owning a house?

A WONDERFUL woman dies a few days ago completely unexpectedly. She left behind an overwrought husband and 6 great but devestated children. They could use some financial help but I don't know how to go about getting donations (either for a raffle or directly to the family) from businesses. Can anyone give me insight on how to begin?

I was wondering how I will be paid. I got a job as a data transciber and I have a Bachelor's degree, which I know automatically allows me to start at a higher level. I think the max level I could start out as is G4. Does anyone know how I can figure this out? I don't go in to do paperwork for a couple weeks!
