You wish ! But you haven't said if this is in ££, $$ or Euros ??
If perhaps AFTER College you then went on to study a Masters at a well known University for 4 years or more, THEN pass that with flying colours - Maybe you could earn a high salary then.... But straight out of college?? - highly unlikely !

Depends what you're doing. The starting salary for one industry will be completely different from another.
45K doesn't sound too bad, in general.

depending on your major and part of the country you live in - typical college grad will make from $30K to 65K in their first job. So at $45K, you are doing pretty well.

Hi Tracy I think it is a great salary in this day and time depending on your field. There are many people with Master's degrees and PHD's that can't find positions paying that amount. Sad but true. Congratulations

That is a very good starting salary as it will only go up from there.

Depends on what the major is, the job responsibilities are, the amount of travel you are doing, etc..
But I think it is a pretty good salary...

Yea, at least you could find a job right out of college. Us new grads up here in Michigan are struggling to find them.

I don't know what line of work you're going into, but it sounds like wishful thinking to me.
