I have savings bonds that are about 20 years old, a $100 and a $50. They aren't worth much more than that now, but I'm really broke and could use the money. Should I wait longer so they'll become worth more, or are they not going to reach any great amount anytime soon?

Suppose that the weighted average duration of a bank's $20 billion portfolio of financial assets was 6, while the duration of its $18.5 billion portfolio of liabilities was 1.
If interest rates at all maturities rose by 25 basis points following a 25 basis point increase by the Fed in its target federal funds rate, what would be the change in the bank's net worth assuming it valued all assets and liabilities at their current market values?

specific.. but I am wondering because it kind of surprised me just how many ordinary people struggle every day to keep on top of things.. including me.. I've had to take out a £12000 bank loan to go to Bar school .... and you sometimes feel as if you exist solely to pay work and bills...

Also is this something that occupies your thoguhts a lot - bills.money, etc..

I checked into Ebay, but most users have said that all the fees included with EBay make for a tough time making any profit. If anyone knows what wholesale product, and what selling website I could use to make the best profit, that would be most appreciated. Thanks!

I am trying to build my business but everyone keeps telling me that my network marketing business is a scam. I know network marketing is not a scam, but I don't know how to handle this objection.

My company sells bottles of water. We only need to get on autoship for 1 liter of water and it costs $100 each. It sounds like a lot to pay for water, but if we sign up 5 people we get nearly all of it back, and once they sign up 5 people I am actually making good money. Then, as long as everyone signs up 5 people for 10 levels deep, i can make $10,000/month. This seems really smart to me but with everyone telling me its a scam there is nothing I can do.

What do you suggest?

okay. so i am behind 1600 - 2000 dollars in in bills. some are in collection, most aren't. i have to jobs. UPS and delivering pizzas. because of earlier money issues i wasn't able to continue college as i would like. part of my debt owed is to my college, reason being i couldn't return until after i pay it off. because of a couple of my debts in collections i was unable to get approved for a 2500 dollar signiture loan from neither bank nor credit union. my parents don't have money and because of my dad's repayment history to the family, i'm afraid to ask anyone outside my imeditate family for help. so assumiing family and another job is out of the question (well, i'm trying to find another job), anyone, what can i do? i'm so messed up. plz, advice

I'm sick of following everyone else and just hoping everything works out in the end. I need a plan now. I love music. [i've been in band at school for 7 years; i play over 10 instruments.] i don't want to keep playing classical music. i don't want to direct because i have a bad temper and i'd throw things. i have a band, but i don't want to be relying solely on that. i want to tour the world with a band. i want to continue being a promoter my whole life. i want to have fun. but i need to figure out what i have to do to accomplish this. help?
