Depending on the state you are and city. Also if you parent’s have approved and signed a release then no. If your being forced to work and being told you have to and implying you might loose your job that is against the law. Ageism is a form of harassment. That is what could be occurring, and being the holiday seasons help is needed with consumers more then normal times of the year. Know your rights and if you have to inform you parents if in fact it is illegal where you live. In most areas minors also have a cut off time of 10PM during the week break time or not. If you in holiday time and your parents are not okay with it they can be fined for having you work crazy hours.
