New Millennium Bank offers different credit cards that have no credit check, no employement check, no money down or a combination of these. You can find ones currently offered here: http://www.creditorweb.com/issuers/new-millennium-bank.html with unbiased reviews of each card (not sales hype). Beware that these cards often do come with a price:

"There is an application fee of $59.95, a processing fee of $90, and a minimum initial deposit of $10. There is also a monthly participation fee of $5.95 that amounts to $71.40 annually. In total, cardholders can expect to pay $221.35 in fees the first year."

But if you are in the situation you described and want to rebuild your credit, this may be your only option.

Secured credit cards require money down, that is how they are secured. Without money down you will not be able to get one and if unemployed and have bad credit you will not be able to get an unsecured card either. Good Luck.

No money down and secured are 2 opposites. You will need a deposit.

Here is some additional info. Hope this helps.

In Australia you won't get one. You need to be able to prove income and have cleared up your bad debts & be able to prove that. If you can't afford it - you can't do it.
