For the past 6 months, I've been seeking professional and administrative employment. I graduated in May with a B.A., had extra circulars, leadership roles, experience working for several professional offices, et cetera.

I never make it past the second round because I'm over-qualified or under-experienced. They always choose someone with more experience. So, how to get a job with moderate experience? Vicious cycle?

I was recently charged $28 for overdrawing from my Washington Trust checking account. The thing is, I used my debit card on the purchase they said I overdrew with. Wouldn't my card have been rejected if I didn't have the money in my account? I was buying gas, so I ran my card before the amount was decided, if that makes a difference.
I've always been told that you can't overdraw with a regular free checking account debit card, so this has me confused. Also, does anyone know if the bank will drop the charges if this has never happened to me before? Thanks

I just learned today that I have yet to file my taxes for 2005 because I was moving all over the place all year. I have only the one W2 form from the only job, and had no rent or anything else to add to the form.

Problem is I have always done my filing online, electronically. And now when I go to any online sites, they only talk about 2006 tax returns.

Can I even cash in on my tax return from a year ago? I'd get almost 200 dollars back so it would be a nice Christmas bonus.

Any website links would be great, too, thanks!

So i just finished making an Excel spred sheet for how much i need to make a an hour to support myself though out the month and i got rid of the car the car insurance skimped on money for going out and emergencys and food so basically i have a rent which i split, a small phone bill, a dentist bill and enough food to servive on and i still cant servive on minium wage. In fact double is what what gets me this far. So I know that their is people who are making min. wage and have kids and nobody to split a rent payment how do they make it?

I thought min. wage was established to make it so you could support yourself on the bare "minimum wage"? As well as have your house or rent payment be 1/4 what you make a month instead of 1/2-3/4 of it? Am i wrong?

I would like to know how hard it will be for me to major in Accounting?

I’m not used to studying hard. I’m used to being the “lazy student” and barely passing. I love Math but I took Calculus 1 and I didn’t pass it because I couldn’t keep up with how fast the class (the class wasn't hard it was just too fast) was moving when I was in College. I also took Microeconomics and I was lost in that class, I just didn't get it and found it boring. I have a very bad memory, I don't like to read too much, my writing skills are bad not horrible and I have a hard time concentrating when I’m trying to study.

Any advice how I can achieve the above or any options on what I should do, like any book that might prepare me or any advice?

Thank you ;-)

I had trouble with my Dell laptop on Sept 11 and I called for assistance. They said my warrenty had expired that day. i found out a few days later that it was the last day but I was still covered. I wrote a letter asking for an explanation. Now they call me saying that I can't find proof that I called on September 11. That they first call I made was on Oct 1. My last choice is to ask the phone company for my phone records. They said that they can't give me my phone records without a lawyer. do i have any other options left?
