Go to any bank or money cashing place. Theres usually a fee to buy the money order, but its usually not that much. It is safer than sending cash in the mail. That way if it gets lost or stollen, you can cancel the money order. You cant replace cash.

yes Walmart does it. Go to the customer service area with your cash and they will give you the money order for the cash.
the Money order cost around a dollar plus the amount you want.
Than fill in the payto and from and send it just like a check

Are you kidding me? For a fee of about one dollar you can get a money order in a post office, bank, store 24 etc. This is a very safe way to send money through the mail if you do not have a checking account.

A money order is similar to an 'official check' except you don't have to say who it is for when you buy one. They are safer than cash because there id a paper trail. Any bank, most convenience stores, wal-mart (since you asked), and the post office all sell money orders. There is a fee but it should be less than $2.

Just take cash to Walmart or just about any convenience store and tell them you want to purchase a money order....it costs a few bucks but you can keep the reciept in case it gets lost in the mail.

any place that has the western union logo will sell a money order. it's kind of like a check. you make out who it's to, sign it, and send it. the establishment you buy it at puts the ammount on it. and they are usually anywhere between 50 cents and a dollar. some times a little more. not sure if walmart sells them though. oh!! try your local post office!!

you can get money orders at a lot of places. everyone has different fees though. I prefer 7/11 because they only charge 99 cents for a money order.

if you do not have a bank account - sometimes 10 dollars - go to the post office for 99 cents
otherwise - have the money go to either and say " i want a money order - for BLANK amount "
It's basically an official certified check - that can not bounce

A money order is similar to a check but it's trackable. To get a money order you will have to go to your bank. Some banks will charge a small fee for the service.
