I have bad credit from being irresponsible and want to change this. My debt is not huge maybe only $4000. My wife has excellent credit. We are wanting to build a home within the next 5 years and we will have to use my income to get the loan but I am worried my low credit score is going to hurt us. I'm wondering if we take out some joint accounts if that will improve my rating (abd make payments on time). Any advice is greatly appreciated!

When you buy and sell your stock....how do you collect the money? Sorry if it sounds like a dumb question....I'm very new to the stock market and am too busy to read big library books.

I am not asking which place I should work for.

I just hear so many complainst against Wal Mart & am curious if Target is any better, or are they just escaping the criticism because they aren't as big as Wal Mart?

Anybody know? I'm "at risk" of getting one and I'm going to play by the rules and kiss up and do whatever I have to do.

But my boss is a psychopath and he's gonna sabatoge things if he can... god help me.

My record is really good up to this point. What should I do?

I know new payments on a debt will restart the clock for time used to collect on a debt, but what about the 7 year period that debt is removed from my credit report? Will the 7 year period start from the charge off date, the date I last paid the creditor when it first became delinquent, or the last date I make payments under a new payment arrangement? It will take me 5 years to pay off a debt if I resume payments, so if the report goes by my last payment, that means this debt would be on my report for 12 years additional years. Will a creditor agree to make the beginning of the 7 year period the year the account was charged off, even if I agree to make monthly payments until it's paid off? If anyone knows of a website with detailed information that would be better.
