Although there may be no definitive answer to this question, it would be interesting to get some ideas on what people think!

I have this business idea...
I want to create a directory of people who are heterosexual. Have you ever wondered if someone you know is gay? What if you could search online at a heterosexual database? It would be free to search, but $1.99 to register your name. I think this would be a fun business idea and people would have a lot of fun with it...especially college kids - what do you think? Would you register? If I stirred up some buzz about the website, I bet I could convince people to advertise and then I could make money from that.

I'd appreciate any feedback... Thanks!

I know how to make all these skin and body products from scratch (shower gels, lotions, body butter’s, milk bath’s, even perfume), my aunt is opening a boutique in Vegas, I’m in Orlando, but she says I should try it from home first like her and build up a clientele. What do you think? I mean I love this kind of stuff. I even work on the wkends in bath and body works because I love aromatherapy and things like that and I usually sell $500- $800 worth of merchandise on a slow day. I was thinking my stuff would be better because its all 100% natural, 100% vegan. What do you think?

I'm going to start investing in the near future but before that I want to confirm that I've
understood how to go about investing in stocks.

So the steps required to buy a stock is :

research the company and understand it well, Normally stocks should be for the long time investment ..
so I should look for a stock that would multiply many times and then sell it may be 7 months-2 yrs down the line ,
when the stock price has multipied.( say for example, I bought the stock for £20 and I sell it after " yrs when
the stock price has become say £40). I've also understood that it's not adviceable to get involved in day trading
as that mostly results in losses

Having researched a company , I should open a broker account eg http://www.tdameritrade.com/trade/overview.html
2. Buy a stock and wait till the price of it increases

Am I missing out on any major steps??

After 10 years of web design and development, I want to start my own design and development company.

I tried in the past but with VERY many fly-by-night types, and EVERYONE has a web idea, I insist on having my wages partially paid up front, at least at first.

This is reasonable correct?

What is a good idea or plan to put into place / writing, to get over this very important hurdle?

I will move to Nashville in a couple months. My wife and I are in our late 20's and we love to go out to bars, dance, and listen to live music. Should I buy a home or rent? If I buy, I will get a home that costs (roughly) $250,000.

Any good suggestions? Nearby cities or neighborhoods?

I have an associates degree in education and plenty of experience working with children from 6 weeks to 5 years old in day cares and preschools, but I would really love to be working hands on with the newborns in a hospital. I thought there might be some kind of job in that department that wouldn't require having a RN's degree. Does anyone know of any? Thanks for the replies:)
