I'm 18 years old still in highschool and undecided of what i want to do. i wanted to be a pilot for a commercial airline but i heard they dont make much money now a days, i'm good at architecture but i feel as though there are already too many architects.It takes too many years to become a doctor, im good at acting but there are millions of people trying to become movie stars!!!!! i want a job where i could make at least $150,000 a year please help life is too short and i feel as though im running out of time, i got good grades but dont know what to do!!!! i dont want to be 30 years old living with my parents!!

you can start by relaxing..... there are plenty of adults who don't know what they want to do.

The first thing you should do is take a career interest inventory life the Self Directed Search or Myers Briggs.Talk to your HS guidance counselor about which ones they have at your school.

Then once you get some ideas research them on the Occupational Outlook Handbook on the DOL website. Its a great website for information on earnings, job growth, and educational requirements of a variety of positions.

First, figure out how much money you want to be earning per year, then couple that with what you're good at, and add what you really feel you want to do 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year (minus vacation time)...Then, realize that you might be a moron for thinking you could get $150,000 right out of college...Best careers as far as money right off the bat tend to lean toward financial or accounting jobs...if you're really good, around $50,000 or$60,000 a year...i.e....if you're not good at math or don't like it, it's not a good idea...
