How do I become an investigator?

I have completed an online study course with Education Direct and have recieved my certificate of completion in the field of private investigations. My only problem is that I cannot work on my own without many years of futher training or internship, and there are very few in this field in the state of Michigan. In the study guides, it said there was manythings I could use my this education for, such as crime scene photographer, arson investigator and many other jobs in law enforcement without being an actual police officer. However, after much looking online and even going to the local police departments, no one seems to know where to go or who to talk to to start in these jobs. Any information you could give me would be helpful. I live in Muskegon,, MI, and would prefer to remain in the general vicinity.

Does anyone make a living doing image retouching or related work at home projects involving single employers?

I use Paint Shop Pro XI, GIMP 2.2 and Photoshop CS2.
I also am an expert at Excel and Access.
I am not looking to work on websites directly.
Doing research is a possibility as I am well versed in this area with degrees in Science and Computer Information Systems.

Can a former landlord have you arrested for damages done to their rental property?

I recently moved out and the landlord has called threatening to have me arrested for destruction of property if I don't call him back within an hour! Can he do that? Can he give me an ultimatum like that? ( I was at work so I couldn't answer my cell phone. I took a chance of getting in trouble so I could listen to the message he left!) Can you be arrested for destruction of property in a situation like this?

Does any1 know of a disclaimer companies use for self advertising?

I am part of a new business where companies help me advertise my business while advertise their's in return.I have media kits and flyers from my company for them to pass out and buy. I need to a disclaimer of some kind to show if they want to use there own supplies but I have to approve it first.

Adverse Possession?

Can anyone anwser? I have built a house on Father Inlaw's Land 22 years ago. Have lived there and paid taxes for all 22 years, Now Father Inlaw died 2 years ago and Brother Inlaw sued to move our home or to sell it with the land. Can we sue for Adverse Possession? We also have a general warrranty deed. We own 1/2 and Brother and sisters own 1/10. We also own 1/10 of the 1/10. Please help if u know.

My Apartment Complex is doing an "Insurance" walk-through, do they really do this?

my apartment complex called my boyfriend up on wednesday telling him our apartment will be "inspected" for renewal of their insurance, and that they will be here between 9am and noon. is this something they do often or is this rare? thanks..

How hard is it to jump right into the stock market?

Is it diificult to make money in the stock market? I am looking to maybe do some trading on the side every now and then with Ameritrade or soemthing...Is the market very unpredicatable or can you be successful as long as you are keeping an eye on things (company news, etc.)?

How can I manufacture an original t-shirt?

I'm trying to start an apparel/t-shirt business online and want to do it the right way. Alot of people screen print their designs on any old plain t-shirts, but that's whack. I want to be able to choose my own material (like cotton, acrylic, henley, etc), the fit (loose, tapered, etc), the application (screen printing, embroidery, patches, etc) and tag (though it will probably be S/P'd on the inside as well). I know there's probably not one single place I could go to where that can all come together, but I'm curious to know how many stops I'd have to make and get a ballpark of how much I'd have to spend. Who do you go to with the material you want and say "Here, these are the measurements." and how do companies get their own custom tags? It's kind of backwards that this is the last information I need to get going. Can anyone knowledgable offer me help? If so, please, be as specific as possible. Thank you! - RMM
